719 Walnut Avenue Caramel Cinnamon Roll

Up for review today is 719 Walnut Avenue Caramel Cinnamon Roll.  It is a 3 wick 14 oz candle.  I purchased it at Walmart for $4.97.  I didn't have any expectations from this candle and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised.  Before I get into the review, let me start off by saying that everyone is comparing these candles to Bath & Body Works for the simple fact that they names are "similar" & the packaging is "similar" as well.  To be honest, I don't think that's a fair comparison.  The reason being is that these candles cost under $5 regular priced & Walmart is not known for their candles.  Bath & Body Works on the other hand cost $22.50 regular priced and are known for their candles having strong throws & great performances.  Although, I must admit that BBW candles have been struggling for me lately and have not been up to par for a $22.50 price tag.  Anywho, that's a story for another day.

Scent Description:  I was unable to find a scent description for this candle

What it smells like to me:  On cold, it smells like a buttery cinnamon roll mixed with caramel.  The caramel wasn't too sweet on cold.  Burned, the butteriness really comes thru along with the sweetness of the caramel & cinnamon.  I actually LOVED the scent on this.  I didn't necessarily smell any icing but definitely the cinnamon, the caramel & the buttery roll.  It's DELICIOUS!!

Performance:  I think most of us were scared to burn this candle when we saw the super skinny long wicks.  You have to open the candle to make sure that the wicks are evenly placed as well as some were a hot mess & all over the place.  Also, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT trim these wicks! Reason being is that they are so skinny, that as soon as you light them, the wick shrivels up to the appropriate size.  Surprisingly, this candle pooled out within 30 minutes and burned like a Boss!  There were no performance issues. The candle did appear to have puny wicks, BUT it pooled every single time & never drowned.  Believe me, it looked like they would but it miraculously did it's thing each & ever time.

Throw:  I'd give this a 6.5  on throw.  Although it's not the strongest candle, it scented up my entire living room.  It didn't venture out any further than that but it did it's job well.  Even though the wicks were puny, it was still throwing & I had no problems smelling it.  I was very satisfied

Grade:  B-

Would I purchase again:  YES!  In fact, I went back & purchased all the ones that I could.  Unfortunately, they were selling out fast & I was only able to get a couple more.

Have you tried this candle?  What were your thoughts & experience.  I'd love to hear from you.
